It’s that time of the year: resolutions abound, with many focusing on health and fitness. According to the Washington Post, Gold’s Gym’s traffic jumps 40 percent between December and January. But for many, these resolutions fall to the wayside long before the year ends. The Nielsen analytic firm reports that only 46% of those who made a New Year’s resolution to lose weight continue to work toward their goal after six months.
